Part Time Program Assistant Position

Big Friend Little Friend of the Mitchell Area is seeking a part-time program assistant to help promote our South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures program.
About the Role:
In this role, you will play a key part in encouraging the next generation of hunters and stewards of the outdoors. You’ll primarily be working remotely with flexible hours, averaging 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities:

Craft engaging social media content: Develop regular social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to promote the South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures program.

Event planning and support: Assist with organizing and promoting program events, such as youth hunting workshops, seminars, and mentorship opportunities. This may involve creating flyers, online registration forms, and managing communication with participants.

Research and outreach: Conduct research to identify potential partnerships and outreach opportunities.
Qualifications:

Strong interest in the outdoors and hunting activities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)

Experience with content creation (writing, graphic design)

Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
