Big Friend Little Friend of the Mitchell Area is seeking a part-time program assistant to help promote our South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures program.

About the Role:

In this role, you will play a key part in encouraging the next generation of hunters and stewards of the outdoors. You’ll primarily be working remotely with flexible hours, averaging 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Craft engaging social media content: Develop regular social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to promote the South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures program.

• Event planning and support: Assist with organizing and promoting program events, such as youth hunting workshops, seminars, and mentorship opportunities. This may involve creating flyers, online registration forms, and managing communication with participants.

• Research and outreach: Conduct research to identify potential partnerships and outreach opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in the outdoors and hunting activities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)

• Experience with content creation (writing, graphic design)

• Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
